The Max Windle Memorial Trust

Max Windle Memorial Trust (MWMT) is raising awareness and offering support to young people suffering with their mental health, with a focus on depression, anxiety, and suicide prevention.
The trust was established by Max’s family in 2021 in memory of Max who tragically passed away at the age of sixteen after suffering with depression. MWMT will help local and national charities in supporting young people with mental health problems by direct funding initiatives and programs.

Ways to get involved

There are a number of valuable ways you can help us

Take part in one of our events

We have a whole host of events that you can take part in to help us raise awareness and funds for MWMT. Become part of our team, get involved, have fun and help to raise vital funds for those young people who need mental health support urgently.

Fundraise your own way

If you have an idea for a fundraising event we can support you with materials and encouragement. Any event which raises awareness and funds for MWMT is greatly appreciated so please let us know and we can help you develop your ideas and get your fundraising started.

Make a donation

Whether it’s a one off donation, sponsorship for an event or a small monthly payment, every donation helps towards saving lives. No matter how big or small the contribution, we really appreciate every effort to help support MWMT.

“Ella and Kate miss their little brother Max every minute of every day. They and many others are inspired to raise money in Max’s name and support the many other young people who are currently struggling with their mental health.”

— DEBORAH WINDLE

Our purpose

Max Windle Memorial Trust (MWMT) is striving to improve the mental health of young people.

We aim to raise awareness and give support to young people suffering with mental health problems, with a focus on depression, anxiety, and suicide prevention. This support, importantly, extends to parents and teachers who are often ill equipped to recognise and support young people suffering with mental health problems.
