London Landmarks Half Marathon
From all of us at MWMT, we wanted to say a MASSIVE thank you for choosing to run for our charity on Sunday.
It was such a special day, full of emotion for us, yet incredibly uplifting. We felt so
much love and kindness from you all. Everyone was so positive; the atmosphere was incredible, with so many supporters cheering on team pink throughout the race. It was great to see so many of you at the pub afterwards and we enjoyed meeting new faces and catching up with old ones. Sending best wishes to Ishan who suffered a fractured tibia during the race yet through courage and determination still finished in a time of 1.45!!!
As I write this, you have raised well over £30,000 (with gift aid) by running on
Sunday which is incredible. This total has come from over 1000 donations, so that is
over 1000 people who have heard Max’s story and have a desire to make a
difference in youth mental health support.
This was our 3rd consecutive year of having a team of charity runners in the LLHM.
Many of you have asked if you can run again next year and many of you have said
you have friends who wish to run for us. If this is something you want to do, please
let us know as we have a draft list already. This will also help us to determine how
many spaces we apply for. Please feel free to let us know of any family, friends,
colleagues who you think may be interested. (just reply to this email with your names and email address.) Also add in the provisional date is Sunday 12th April 2026 ….
If you have any feedback about Sunday and how we can improve your experience
and that of future participants, please let us know.
Sending love and thanks
Kate
