Support us

There are a number of ways you can help and support MWMT. Whether it’s a one-off donation, sponsorship at one of our events, fundraising through your own event or just spectating and cheering as part of our team, we are extremely grateful for all the support we receive.

Donate to MWMT

Every donation made to MWMT is so gratefully received and will go towards raising awareness and offering support to young people suffering with their mental health, with a focus on depression, anxiety, and suicide prevention.

Take part in one of our events

We have a whole host of events that you can take part in to help us raise awareness and funds for MWMT. Become part of our team, get involved, have fun and help to raise vital funds for those young people who need mental health support urgently.

Fundraise your own way

If you have an idea for a fundraising event we can support you with materials and encouragement. Any event which raise awareness and funds for MWMT is greatly appreciated so please do let us know and we can help you to develop your ideas and get you started on your fundraising.

Raise Awareness

We’d love you to help us raise awareness and spread the word about MWMT by flying our flags and sporting our tees. You can purchase all your MWMT spectator and supporter items from our shop. 100% of all proceeds go to MWMT and your support is vital to our fundraisers.

About your donations, where and how they are used.

We have been overwhelmed by the amazing support for MWMT. We set out with an initial objective of raising £5000 and to date have raised in excess of £100,000. This is testament to both the massive impact of Max’s tragic loss and the sad reality of the mental health crisis facing many young people today.

Our funding guidelines and procedures

The MWWT charity has appropriate systems and procedures (per the charity commission guidelines) in place to:

  • Allow the Trustees to set priorities for funding.
  • Require sufficient detail in the grant application, and monitoring procedures, to enable the trustees to identify and assess risks and make informed decisions.
  • Enable the charity to carry out appropriate due diligence on organisations applying for grants.
  • Ensure grants are authorised by the trustees.

How funds are allocated

Over the coming months the Trustees will start to allocate funds to registered charities, aligned with the purpose of MWMT, in several forms:

  • As one-off donations.
  • As ongoing funding to create enduring services/support.
  • Potentially to tangible research efforts in the field of mental health and suicide prevention.

Where to find fund allocation information

All funding deployed will be made transparent on the website, and in the MWMT annual report on an ongoing basis.
