What we do
The Max Windle Memorial Trust supports projects that make a meaningful difference to the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people.
Through the generosity of our supporters and fundraisers, we provide funding for initiatives that improve access to mental health support, help young people at times of crisis and contribute to better understanding of how effective support can be delivered.
Our work is focused on creating practical, lasting change — ensuring that more young people and their families can access the help they need, when they need it.
Our Projects
We work with organisations and services that share our commitment to improving mental health support for young people.
By funding targeted projects, we aim to help create earlier access to support, improve existing services and contribute to better outcomes for young people experiencing emotional distress or mental health crisis.
MWMT James’ Place
Youth Emotional Support
A quote from one of the families helped:
“I know we were lucky, and this service has not always been available for 16 -18-year-old young men, but it is so very much needed.”
We thank you all for your support, and look forward to continuing to fund this crucial, life-saving work through your generous donations and fundraising.
Your Support Makes This Possible
Every project we support is made possible by the generosity of our fundraisers, donors and supporters.
Whether you donate, take part in an event, organise your own fundraiser or simply help us raise awareness, you are helping MWMT support services that can make a real difference to young people and their families.
Together, we can continue Max’s legacy and help create better access to mental health support for young people who need it
